The Paper Hero

This is the final for my photo class. The main subject was paper over the same color paper. The first one is a tubular sculpture (Every time I read that I think about Mike Oldfield :S), the second one is supposed to show texture and the third one a repeated pattern. I like how they turned out. I really hope Mr. Erdman does too :)



Este es el proyecto final para mi clase de fotografía. El tema principal es papel sobre papel del mismo color. la primera es una escultura tubular (Cada vez que leo eso en inglés pienso en Mike Oldfield :S), la segunda se supone que muestra la textura y la tercera un patrón que se repite. Me gusta como han quedado. Espero que a Mr Erdman también le guste :)

Here is ma latest "Power of Myth ans Symbol" project. The teacher pretty much told us to do whatever we wanted, so instead of writing I decide to draw a bit. Coloring was a waste of time, though.


Este es mi último trabajo para "El Poder del Mito y los Símbolos" (Qué extraño suena eso traducido, jejejejej). El profesor nos dijo básicamente que podíamos hacer lo que quisiéramos, así que en vez de escribir decidí dibujar un poco. Colorear ha sido una pérdida de tiempo.

Here is the whole process I went through to finish this illustration (except the color studies). I am not all that happy with the final result, but it was extremely fun!! :)

Aquí está todo el proceso que seguí para terminar esta ilustración (excepto los estudios de color). No estoy todo lo contenta que podría estar con el resultado final, pero ha sido muy divertido!! :)

In my case it's easy so to see when my mind is not at ease. I usually stay up until daylight doing anything that will calm me. Drawing works best.
Tonight I've been working on character design :)


En mi caso es fácil saber cuando mi mente está intranquila. Normalmente me quedo despierta hasta que salga el sol mientras hago cualquier cosa que me calme. Dibujar es lo que mejor funciona.
